In consideration of your acceptance of my volunteer service, I for myself, my heirs, my executors and administrators, do hereby release the City of Bowling Green, KY, and any other parties associated in any way with the bg26.2 & half marathon from all claims, suits, actions or damages arising during my participation in this event. I attest and verify that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in participating in this event, and am physically capable of participating as a volunteer in this event. Furthermore, in the event that the volunteer is a person under 18 years of age, the parent or legal guardian of the volunteer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the entities released above, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, expenses (including attorney fees), judgments and penalties arising out of the volunteer's participation in the event. I understand that bg26.2 reserves the right to use any and all volunteers' names and/or likenesses with regard to promotional or advertising materials, including in the future. This waiver is entered and agreed to by me this the 6th day of November 2016, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
